Sangitan or Sambucus javanica Reinw.
Sangitan is habitus and rounded shrub with branched stems, about 1-3 meters high. Odd pinnate compound leaves, there are 5-9 leaflets. Child-stemmed leaves with strands of elongated ellipsoidal to oblong, 8-15 cm long and 3-5 cm wide. Pointed tip with serrated edge, upper surface dark green color while light green beneath the surface.
